BU Sustaianbility role responsabilities


  • Leading the BU glidepath definition and evolution , under direction of Director Collaborating across the Focus Areas to lay out that path for the Turkey BU and updating and iterating as part of the annual cycle so BU has a clear and transparent path to its goals
  • Orchestrating cross functional teams locally to plan and execute successful deployment of solutions
  • Providing governance and transparency over target delivery, deployment readiness, cost of action & open gaps
  • Feeding back to Focus Area leaders (directly or indirectly) market needs vs existing planned or ready solutions
  • Working with multiple teams including PPGA, Agro, Climate Focus Area teams, MEM and Cateogry Marketing and Comms teams to ensure Brand Purpose agenda is well supported
  • Maintaininig the governance of the agenda, including ensuring performance transparency. Ownership of the pep+ scorecard
  • Orchestrating potential local sustainability reports along with Corporate Affairs.
  • Seeking and coordinating with procurement grants access.


Agro and MEM Lead Market role responsabilities


  • Work with Corporate Affairs manager to Identify specific BU relevant local programs to support Regen Ag objectives with specific focus on protecting local habitats and improve livelihoods of local farmers
  • Supporting the execution of the Positive agriculture agenda in market, working on all Agro areas as relevant for the BU, but specifically supplier sourced agro materials
  • Work with MEM manager to identify improvement needs of MEM, increase recycled metarials and upgrade coolers to reduce carbon emission.
  • Working with Turkey and Sector Agro / Procurement and MEM/ SC teams to develop / scorecard relevant KPIs
  • Ensuring alignment of the Agro and sustainable MEM workplanwith BU LT to confirm support for the agenda and proposed outcomes

Manage order placement with correct prices and terms, conditions, delivery, communication for Beverage Direct materials.


Daily follow up of orders, shipments based on Oracle or other systems being used and checking daily shipment list of suppliers if there is any issue or not and making alarms on time.


Solving operational problems with internal stakeholders and suppliers. i.e. GRNI, invoice etc.


Analyzing and providing input for monthly hold report to TU Finance


Follow import process for the scopes/processes which are at GP Turkey Directs responsibility.


Checking customs regulations for each material and new materials.


Complete import registration of new materials and deliver expectations. Feed project procurement timeline accordingly.


Ensure import file closing done on time and correct and correct costs are paid for import.


Participate in cross-functional working groups meetings(productivity or other project meetings or WPM, etc.. upon request to give data/info.

University graduate Beverage/Food manufacturing or Fast moving consumer goods sector experience would be a distinct advantage.


At least 2-3 years experience in import operation of food industry


Fluency in Turkish & English


Oracle knowledge would be a significant asset.


A pro-active self-starter with an acute attention to detail and the ability to manage complexity.


Team player, with excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication skills to be able to build effective relationships.

Education/Certifications:


  • Minimum Qualification: University degree (marketing, economics beneficial) 



Work Experience:


  • Experience in Brand management (FMCG) no less than 7 years;

  • Preferred: Prior Marketing Brand building experience within consumer packaged goods;

  • Strong leadership skills;

  • English: written and verbal no less than upper-intermediate.

  • Channel Strategy Manager is tasked with designing strategy projects and lead cross-functional teams to drive implementation of strategic initiatives of Organized Trade Channel 
  • Lead the process of coming up with incremental growth and sell & move productivity proposals for different geographies and market dynamics. Manage the development of business cases and strategic options based on research and analysis, economic models, and ROI analysis.
  • Manage development and delivery of network design strategies across all channels. Complete research and analysis of industry best practices and channel utilization to develop high-quality network strategies and plans.
  • Co-ordinate the inclusion of customer segmentation and Customer Value Offers (CVO)/Joint Business Plans (JBP) to deliver holistic programs.
  • Design and lead sales premium mechanisms & sales targeting process, set business metrics, evaluate actual performance, make recommendations to channel business leaders on performance target achievement, simulate & test proposed model and ensure accuracy of the process from target-to-premium. 
  • Personally interact with customers to gather information on industry developments and to identify opportunities. Work closely with Key account customers, Insights and Key Account teams to identify market trends. Utilize this data and analysis in the development of channel strategies.
  • Close communication with sales field force organization, realize frequent customer & retailer visits to measure the field’s pulse
  • Integrate into annual plans and lead long term strategic planning processes for Organized Trade channel strategies, co-ordinate expansion plans, prepare for pre and post preparations and hyper-care period for transitions.
  • Oversee projects through execution, facilitate the execution process. Provide leadership for project closure and incorporate lessons learned into the project processes, best practices, methodology and tools. 
  • Also act as one of the business leaders to support big transformational Organized Trade sales projects, develop channel based communication plans to drive internal knowledge.
  • Join Organized Trade customer team in WCCE (World Class Customer Engagement) process to act as a counterpart in channel strategy requirements and develop solutions for customer based needs addressed in customer JBP plans
